Get answers to common questions about Regular Passion Twist.
On average, Regular Passion Twist can last four to eight weeks with proper care. Longevity depends on hair texture, daily maintenance, and sleeping routines. Touch-ups around the edges may be needed to maintain a fresh appearance and prevent premature loosening.
Regular Passion Twist works well on most hair types, especially textured, curly, or coily hair. Hair length and density influence volume. Your stylist will assess hair health and recommend pre-treatment or extensions to achieve the desired fullness and longevity.
Wash and deep condition hair 24–48 hours before your appointment. Avoid heavy oils or leave-in products that weigh hair down. Detangle thoroughly and bring reference photos; your stylist will advise on any trimming or treatments needed before installation.
Light exercise is fine, but protect twists from excess water and chlorine. Use a swim cap or rinse and condition hair immediately after swimming. Pat dry and retwist any loose sections; regular maintenance preserves shape and prevents frizz.
Wrap hair with a satin or silk scarf or use a satin bonnet to reduce friction. Sleep on a satin pillowcase for extra protection. Re-twist or smooth edges in the morning to keep the style neat and prolong wear.
Wait 7–10 days before the first gentle wash to allow twists to set. Use a diluted sulfate-free shampoo applied to the scalp and diluted conditioner on lengths. Pat dry, avoid vigorous rubbing, and air-dry or blow-dry on low heat.
