Get answers to common questions about Jumbo Lemonade.
With good maintenance Jumbo Lemonade braids usually last four to six weeks. Longevity depends on hair growth, scalp care, sleeping protection, and how well you avoid heavy friction or daily manipulation.
When done by a trained stylist and installed with appropriate tension, Jumbo Lemonade braids are protective. Excessive tension, improper removal, or repeated tight installations can cause breakage or edge stress, so professional care is important.
Generally suited to medium to thick hair textures and those with enough length to anchor braids. Extensions can be added for fullness. The required hair type will be confirmed on your booking confirmation page.
Installation time typically ranges from two to four hours depending on braid size, hair density, parting complexity, and any added extensions or styling requests. We recommend allowing a flexible window for best results.
You can swim or exercise, but chlorine and saltwater can dry extensions and natural hair. Wear a swim cap when possible, rinse and condition after swimming, and avoid prolonged wetness to prevent frizz or odor.
Protect at night with a silk scarf or bonnet, moisturize scalp with light mist or oil sparingly, cleanse gently with diluted shampoo or a dry-cleanse method, and avoid heavy products that weigh braids down.
